Erdoğan offers mediation between Iran and US in call with Iranian president

According to a statement from the Turkish Communications Directorate, the two leaders reviewed the state of Türkiye–Iran ties and the growing security risks resulting from recent regional escalation. During the call, Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye is prepared to play a facilitating role between Iran and the United States to help lower tensions and contribute to the resolution of ongoing disputes.
