Details of the incident Türkiye's National Defense Ministry announced earlier Sunday that the helicopter, belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces, crashed late Friday while conducting training activities under the Qatar-Turkish Combined Joint Force Command. Initial findings point to a technical malfunction as the cause. Among the seven fatalities were one Turkish Armed Forces member and two ASELSAN technicians, alongside Qatari military personnel. Qatari authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
