The Israeli military claimed responsibility Tuesday for striking a "command headquarters" in the heart of Tehran, targeting what it described as key government and security buildings within a heavily secured government compound. In a statement, the army said the attack hit the Presidential Palace, the Supreme National Security Council building, a forum complex responsible for security decisions, the Iranian Military Officers' Training Institute, and other vital infrastructure. Scale of Attack Israeli army spokesperson Evy Devrin told a news conference that approximately 100 fighter jets participated in the operation, employing more than 250 types of munitions.
