Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry confirmed the drones were launched from Iranian territory. The incidents occurred against the backdrop of the sixth day of US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have killed at least 926 people including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The regional turmoil has also spilled into NATO territory, with a ballistic missile from Iran tracked toward Turkish airspace intercepted Wednesday by NATO defense systems over the Eastern Mediterranean.
