President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Laurence Douglas Fink, the chief executive of BlackRock and head of the World Economic Forum, during a closed-door meeting in Istanbul on Friday. The gathering took place at the Dolmabahçe Presidential Office, according to a statement shared by the presidency on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal. Key ministers attend high-level discussion The private session was attended by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, alongside Alois Zwinggi, a senior executive from the World Economic Forum. The presence of Türkiye’s top economic and energy officials underscored the significance of the discussions, which focused on investment opportunities and economic cooperation.
