Türkiye’s high-technology exports reached $9.9 billion in 2025, with aerospace vehicles making up the largest portion at $4 billion, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). The figures highlight the continued expansion of Türkiye’s advanced industrial exports, which have grown 53.7% since 2021. Breakdown of High-Tech Exports The leading category in high-tech exports was “aircraft and spacecraft manufacturing,” which accounted for a little over $4 billion last year. This was followed by “manufacturing of computers, electronics, and optical products” at $3.3 billion and “basic pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies” at $2.5 billion. High-tech exports have risen steadily in recent years, climbing from $6.4 billion in 2021 to $9.1 billion in 2025. Medium-High Tech Exports Exceed $100 Billion Meanwhile, Türkiye’s medium-high-technology exports grew by 10.6% year-on-year in 2025, surpassing $102 billion. The largest contributor in this segment was motor vehicles, with exports worth $38.9 billion, followed by electrical equipment manufacturing ($19.8 billion), machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified ($18.57 billion), and chemicals and chemical products ($18.54 billion). Growing Share of Advanced Manufacturing Combined medium-high and high-tech exports reached $112 billion in 2025. The share of manufacturing industry exports within Türkiye’s total exports has also been rising consistently—from 36.4% in 2021 to 43.5% in 2025—demonstrating a structural shift toward higher value-added production.
